Optimization of Tomato Productivity Using Flowering Time Variants

The control of flowering time is a major contributing factor to the improvement crop yield by optimizing plant growth in cycle. Genetic variants that determine can provide insights into for higher yields and other beneficial traits tomato crops. Here, we examined collection assess their effects on biomass total yields. Five late (lf), thirteen large (lp), seven floral homeotic (fh) mutants were identified as could be rearranged according leaf production primary shoot meristem (PSM). A continuum was translated positive with more leaves, branches, organs. showed an optimal curve fruit yield, indicating certain gradually decreasing both directions earlier or later times. We isolated lf1, lf10, lp22, fh13 high-yielding genotypes time, showing new balance between vegetative phases tomato. Additionally, lp8, fh8, fh15 produced extremely high axillary shoots, organs due apices additional lateral shoot. Our late-flowering genetic resources used optimize fine-tuning future molecular studies conducted revisiting our model.
